Oedpius Rex

Now time, for Oedipus Rex apparently...Let's begin?

Oedipus Rex inspires those thinking about commiting incest, to well...STOP. DAMARE. Baka, aho-yarou, you dumb. ZETSUBOUSHDA! "I'm in despair!!!" to quote one of my favorite teachers, even if they're not a real person. You walk away from this short tragedy, (which I think didn't need those two apostles singing about Zeus and stuff to fill it with literary devices,) with a limp. A painful sinful limp, which hurts when you think about your parents.

Mostly you have to think really deeply about fate, and are you under control. (Which I could find an any of my anime, I think...Too bad teachers don't find time to check out the weekly 14 episodes of stuff that could help their students relate to them more.) I'm off topic...
Some people call happenings coincidences, others say that there is nothing in this world but "Hitsuzen." (fate)

"No matter how unimportant the meeting...how small the outcome...it will always have some later effect on you. there is an unbroken series of connections that follows the life path of any person. it can be the smallest of things. it can be the shortest of moments. it may never be remembered. it may never be recorded. a bond of fate never disappears once tied." "if you believe that your destiny is decided, then most likely, it's decided. if you believe that nothing is decided, then most likely, nothing is decided. it's how a world is. a world is infinitely large, but actually, it's pretty small. the scope of what you can see; the scope of what you can hear; the scope of what your fingers can touch; the scope of what you can feel...and that's all. a world...it just is! and you make it. "---Yuuko Ichihara, Space Time Witch, XXXHolic by CLAMP.

I think this quote pretty accurately describes Oedipus' problem...in all the huge world, the little things that he did, and despite the fact that he remained in one place for many years, the world aruond him was still altered from everything he could touch and see. You see? Manga is informative as well.
